The Aruma Black Gold is a formidable creation, a true testament to the mastery achieved at the ARUMA CIGARS factory. Crafted by master blender Wilmer Cárcamo, this blend is a full-bodied commitment to impeccable craftsmanship and deep-seated tradition. It presents an intensely complex and highly layered smoke, tailored explicitly for the experienced, discerning palate.
Upon ignition, the profile opens with a dominant flourish of black and red pepper, skillfully accented by classic cedar spice. The second third introduces rich, evolving notes of decadent chocolate and robust coffee, providing substantial depth. Before lighting, the aroma offers a captivating bouquet of nutmeg, cocoa, and cinnamon, hinting at its sensory breadth.
Aesthetically, the construction is praised as excellent, cloaked in a beautiful, oily wrapper that confirms its premium status. The burn is consistently straight and even, a clear hallmark of superior leaf integration. The draw is typically excellent, though some vitolas may present a slightly open air path.
